Waters of no existence

Waters of no existence is a video project that addresses the conception and construction of the world-sound from the creation myths of ancient cultures around the world, focusing on the Vedic texts and scriptures of the Rig Veda, in which sound is understood as the weaving element of the universe through those understood as primeval waters. The work addresses the threshold between the metaphysical conception that ancient cultures gave to sound and water, with the current philosophical principles on the formation/construction of the cosmos from the Big Bang and string theory, which presents the idea of a universe vibrant.

The work narratively presents a similar way of understanding the creation of the cosmos from two antagonistic points of view of human thought, which end up relating and understanding that the backbone of this process is the vibration that gives rise to sound.
