The Zone / The Zone
The artist draws a map around these places and generates a journey through them, intervening in them, modifying their visual-sound reality while performing the action of recording, as an act of spatial performativity through the architectural dimension and ends up constituting a new residual space, a new visual and sound architecture that has nothing to do with the one conceived for the original use of the space.
Once these interventions have been carried out and documented through photography, sound and video, the aim is to transfer the experience to the viewer by drawing maps, confronting the visual registers with their respective sound registers. These portraits will appear as windows to the outside of the art center as symbols of the journey made by the artist while he transports the viewer to a state of sensations in which he is bombarded through his senses with a semantic sonority of the disused architectural space, the maximum architectural expression of the Sublime, a sound picnic through the road.
