Ferran Lega Lladós, is a multidisciplinary artist born in 1983 in Lleida. He stood out at a young age in the field of drawing and artistic creation. In 2001 he began his studies in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, where he received a scholarship to complete part of his studies at the Universitat Der Kunste in Berlin. In 2008, he graduated and obtained the certificate of pedagogical aptitude (CAP). That same year he is admitted to the doctoral program with a quality mention "Besieged reality, creative positions", at the University of Barcelona. His participation in this program notably influenced his work and he began his artistic career in the field of contemporary creation, receiving one of the prestigious scholarships from the Fundación Botín de Santander, to carry out an artistic residency with Jannis Kounellis, one of the greatest exponents of 20th century Povera art and present their work at the headquarters of the Botín Foundation in Santander.

During the period between 2010-2014 he will develop his doctoral thesis under the tutorship of the Professor of sculpture and sound art at the University of Barcelona Dr. Josep Cerà, investigating the creative capacities of the acoustic science of Cymatics (Cymatics), within the group of research BR:AC (Barcelona Research, Art and creation). During this time, he will present projects at different sound art festivals and obtain prestigious national scholarships, such as the Sala d'art Jove Research Scholarship from the Generalitat de Catalunya under the mentorship of the writer, art critic and professor of the Pompeu Fabra University, Eloi Fernández Porta. During 2013 he held various sound art exhibitions and at the end of the year he will present the PULSAR Project at the ATM Contemporary Gallery in Gijón (September-October 2013) and at the Fundació Tàpies in Barcelona (November-December 2013), giving a creative impetus to his artistic career.

During the following years, 2014-2015, he will attend the Sound Art Master's Degree at the University of Barcelona as a speaker and carry out several more projects (Workshop with Avelino Sala at the Bòlit center d'art Contemporani in Girona, Workshop with Fermín Jiménez Landa at the DAFO- Center d'art La Panera de Lleida, presentation of a work in book format at the Conference on contemporary art of the UDL, etc.), being a finalist in important calls such as Bòlit Crea (Contemporary Art Center of Girona) and the artistic residencies Sant Andreu Contemporani (Fabra i Coats of Barcelona). In May 2014 he obtained the title of Doctor Cum Laude from the University of Barcelona with his Doctoral thesis work, with a panel made up of professors, Dr. Francesc Dalmau (UPC), Dr. Miquel Molina (UPV) and Dr. Alex Nogué (UB). As part of the work, he presents a sound installation at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona.

Since July 2014, it has offered its educational services to art centers, galleries and museums, in the form of sound visualization workshops, both for young people and adults, being a joint initiative of the La Panera Art Center in Lleida and the artist. He also participates as a Speaker in International Congresses (Art, Science and City, UPV) and combines his work as a teacher both in the artistic field in public Secondary Education, with his artistic work presenting sound art projects in various Galleries and art centers for everyone.

During 2016 his doctoral thesis received university academic recognition through the Extraordinary Doctorate Prize awarded by the University of Barcelona and he was awarded several scholarships for creation in the field of sound ( CMMAS Center for Music and Sound Arts of Mexico and Eufònic 2016 ) Lo Pati d'Amposta Art Center to generate a project for Eufònic 2016 that is formalized in the Amposta Museum .

In 2017 and 2018, he has continued to show his work at festivals such as l'Eufonic Urba at Arts Santa Mònica in Barcelona, Embarrat Museu del Trepat in Tárrega , El Festival panoramic de Granollers at l'espai Roca Umbert , or the Biennal IEI larva , in addition to showing their live performances of experimental music and presenting their first record album with the Audiotalia label. He begins the year 2019 with a retrospective exhibition of his 10 years of work in the field of sound at the Guinovart Museum and will carry out two more projects this year. The first of them at the MEM Bilbao and later winning the II Contemporary Art Biennial of the IEI Lleida.

In 2019 he began his work as a professor and researcher of the degree in Digital Design and Creative Technologies at the University of Lleida. During 2020 he has shown his works in the collective exhibition Invisibles but Presents curated by Antonia Folguera in Sant Andreu Contemporani. He presented a video at the Bideofromo Bilbaoarte festival and has exhibited his individual project els cicles del temps in the Gothic room of the IEI.
